2. General Requirements

  • Manuscript must be:

    • Original (not previously published)

    • Not under consideration elsewhere

    • Free from plagiarism, data falsification, or fabrication

  • Accepted topics include:

    • Field or literature research

    • Conceptual analysis

    • Theoretical studies

    • Critical reviews in education, Islamic studies, humanities, or social technologies


3. Manuscript Format

  • Language: Indonesian or English

  • Format: Single column, single-spaced

  • Font: Segoe UI, size 11 pt

  • File types: DOC, DOCX, RTF

  • Length: Plagiarism below 20%, checked by plagiarism software (Turn It In)

  • Article must follow the provided Article Template

  • Reference: Minimum 30 citations (with DOI), using APA 7th Style with a reference manager (e.g., Mendeley)


4. Structure and Content

4.1 Title

  • Use Segoe UI, 14 pt, bold, center-aligned

  • Concise, specific, no abbreviations

4.2 Authors and Affiliations

  • Full names only (no titles or positions)

  • Affiliation: department, university/institution, country

  • Use superscripts for multiple authors

  • Corresponding author: indicated with email (email symbol as superscript)

4.3 Abstract and Keywords

  • Max. 150 words, in Segoe UI, 10 pt, justified

  • Includes aim, method, result, and conclusion

  • Keywords: max 5, in italic, separated by semicolon (;)

4.4 Article Sections (IMRaD)

  • Introduction

    • Research context, problem statement, objective, and theoretical background

    • Include minimum 5 relevant studies for novelty

  • Methodology

    • Detailed explanation of research method, participants, instruments, and procedures

    • Enough information for replication

  • Results and Discussion

    • Present results logically, avoid repeating figures/tables in-text

    • Discuss findings in context, cite related work, and state implications/limitations

  • Conclusion

    • Tied to objectives; no repetition of abstract or results

    • Max 100 words, no bullet points

  • Acknowledgements

    • Acknowledge those who assisted but are not co-authors

    • Include funding statements if applicable


5. Figures, Tables, and Equations

5.1 Figures

  • Format: EPS, TIFF, JPEG, or native Microsoft Office

  • Caption: below figure, Segoe UI 11 pt

  • Refer as: Fig. 1, Fig. 2, etc.

5.2 Tables

  • Title: above table, Segoe UI 11 pt

  • No vertical lines, simple layout

  • Tables must be editable (not image files)

5.3 Equations

  • Align left, number right (use right-tab)

  • Refer as: Eqn. (1), Eqn. (2)

  • Use italics for variables


6. Style Conventions

  • Units: Use SI Units (e.g., kg, m, s, K, %, °C)

  • Spacing: One space between number and unit (e.g., 25 %, 30 °C)

  • Number format: dot for decimal, comma for thousand (e.g., 1,000.50)


7. References

  • Use APA 7th Edition, managed via software like Mendeley

  • Minimum 30 references, each with a DOI (if available)

  • Only include sources cited in the manuscript

  • Ensure proper citation of related papers from Nuris JEIS Journal (if relevant)

8. Biographies (Optional)

  • Short biography (max 100 words) for each author can be added after the references (if needed)
